Awesomeness!

The District Preschool called today and they have an opening for Zoe beginning February 2! It's so awesome! She will love it! Zoe is so smart. I wish she wouldn't play dumb so much! I am hoping that letting her know she is going to school now will help her to concentrate at home for the next 10 days so I can find out where she is. We are so thankful for this opportunity for her to learn outside of the home. Anyone who knows me knows I am not patient enough to do homeschool or whatever. So the moral of this blah blah blah is .... YAY FOR PRESCHOOL!!!

What's wrong/or right about my kid!?!

What's wrong with this picture????
Got it figured out yet? Kristin understands that socks don't go in the fridge. I Understand that same thing! But apparently Dante doesn't get that yet. I was putting something away after dinner tonight and found these waiting here. Talk about yucky! now all the food will have a stinky feet smell.
Dante also has a funny side. Tonight he was pretending to share his chocolate milk with his tiger.....he was cupping his hands and putting them up to the tiger's mouth and making drinking noises. Pretty funny and cute!

Holidays And So Much Fun

We finally had room for a tree this year! This was only a 4 ft tree, but better than none. We had a great time decorating it together, and the kids were so brokenhearted when we had to put it away. Dante continuously reminds us that we "put the christmas tree away behind my chair!"
Dante is also upset because it "snow on my swingset." ( and on the truck, and the cars, and well...if you name it and it has snow on it, he's mad.)
Dante's Monster hat and gloves.
Axton's Silly Face! (His mom says this is his attention getter in the car!)
Zoe making a snow angel in her new snowsuit!
Zoe is having an awesome time with her new snowsuit in all this snow we have gotten in the past few weeks. This is her snow angel on the front sidewalk.
Daddy made a Maze in the snow in the front yard. All of the kids have had fun traipsing through it.
Zoe before she got her new snowsuit.
This is Zoe's new snowsuit! She wanted to play in the snow so badly. We finally broke down and went to buy this very expensive one. Hopefully she can still fit in it next year.
These were the BEST gifts the kids got this year. (Well in their opinion anyway. Little do they know how inexpensive they were!)
TTFN!!!!

I Conquered IT!

Hey! I made my first cheeseball ever, and IT TURNED OUT!!! I am so excited. We all miss grandma Wood this year (well, her spirit anyway.....) and making this cheeseball makes me feel like she was watching over me and instructing me how to do it. I can do whatever I set my mind to! :) Two Thumbs UP!

Kids are funny!

I was driving down the street the other night and it was snowing. So I had the wipers on, but there was ice on them, so every time it swished it smeared water on the glass. I stopped, got out of the car and snapped them against the windsheild 3 or 4 times. When i got back in the car, Zoe promptly said "No one is home." Confused I asked her what she was talking about. she explained to me that "you knocked on the window so I was saying no one is home." She is so cute. I love her sense of humor. (T)

I was sitting on the couch the other day watching t.v. while the kids played. They were being very well behaved and playing by themselves. Suddenly Zoe looks over at Dante and says "Did you just take that from me?" and proceeds to lean over and pretends to snatch something out of his hand. Then she set it on the floor by her. Dante looked at her for a second, screamed, and walked over to where she had set "it" down. He grabed the imaginary item and took it back over to where he had been playing. Imagine that! Why do we buy so many useless toys for them to fight over when they can continue to fight over imaginary junk. (T)

Near unto the garbage can, we have a cart with the microwave on it. We occasionally put larger garbage items on it when they don't fit in the garbage can. One afternoon, Tony had finished a drink and was headed into the kitchen to throw the plastic bottle away. Zoe saw that he had an empty bottle and wanted to use it for play. Daddy told her it needed to go into the garbage can. so in order to foil his efforts to throw it away, she put her hand on the garbage to hold the lid down so he couldn't open it and put the bottle in. He then placed in on top of a milk jug next to the can. Zoe just looked at him, sighed, and walked away, outsmarted and defeated! (J)

This year we can finally embrace the Christmas season! YAY! We finally have room for a tree. i had been saying for a week that the family needed to take time and decorate it together. I carefully put the skirt underneath it and arranged the tinsel to get it started. (Tony finally said that I had kept confusing him....everytime he came into the room, the tree had changed looks...one time the skirt was there, then partly covered in tinsel, then the tinsel was finished, but it had been changed! Boy was he surprised....he was asking "When did you do all this?") Later that evening we all got together to hang the decorations. They are all silver to coinside with the purple tree skirt. Next year we hope to have a bit bigger tree (it's shorter than 4ft.)

Dante is getting so big! Where does time go? He's only 21 months, but all ready asking "Go pee in sister's potty?" I know that boys take longer to potty train, but I don't think it will be all that hard. I dont think he's completely ready yet, but it's nice that he's starting to realize that he should be doing things differently. He has actually made urine come out a few times, but I don't think it is computing in his head how it all works yet. Wish us good luck! (J)

Only The Truth

Zumba is Awesome!! It's nice not being so lazy sometimes!

Christmas cards are in the mail! One less thing to do before the big day!

Bought a new laptop-CHERRY RED! It's so yummy looking! :)

Zoe had been staying with Aunt Kristin. It's so nice and quiet here!! (but she is coming home tonight. We are glad she loves us enough to come home!)

Tax time approaches....not sure what I can and can't write off this year with the new house purchase and all. Guess that's why we have accountants! (And I sure get my money's worth.)

Well, so much to do today. Better get going! See everyone later!

An introduction of the times

Hey everyone! Here we are! Finally catching up to the 21st century. Michelle came to visit us for a couple of days and we are having so much fun. She helped me learn how to blog!

Zoe is always wanting to have her picture taken. This is what we looked like today as we left the house to go to town! After we got home, Michelle did Zoe's nails. Her hands look so grown up!! But for those of you who know Zoe, she is still a little stinker most of the time.
I finally had the courage to get a new hair do. It's kinda flippy and curls under a bit. It's way short and I have bangs and a bit of layering. For those of you who know me, this was a BIG step!
Little Dante. Such a big helper! Crazy kid is always doing something funny. Here he is cleaning up the game we played this afternoon.

Tony has saved the day once again. He took a break fromwork to bring Michelle and I a drink from the gas station!
